We believe in individuality and diversity: Therefore our investments range over many different sectors:

NLC Health (NL)

95% of healthtech innovations never reach the market – and therefore the patients who desperately need them. NLC – The European Healthtech Venture Builder – has been working since 2015 with a network of over 3,000 experts from industry, research and medicine to reach these patients.

Pain monitoring systems, ultrasound cancer detection and light therapy for newborns: these are just a few of the more than 3,600 life-changing inventions that NLC evaluates annually and guides towards market maturity through a structured process.

The Dutch company has already successfully transformed more than 100 innovations into start-ups and supports them from foundation to financing and market entry.

CycloTech (AT)

“Make individual air mobility as normal as driving a car – opening the sky for everyone”.

To realise this vision, the Austrian aviation company is developing the propulsion solutions of tomorrow. CycloRotors are extremely compact, are ideally used in VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) applications and allow immediate control of thrust and thrust direction, 360° around the axis of rotation. This enables high manoeuvrability and easy transition from hover to forward flight – essential components for Urban Air Mobility applications.

CycloTech offers the technology for a safer and more cost-efficient propulsion solution for the next generation of air taxis – for easy and comfortable locomotion in the 3rd dimension.

Hotel Saratoga (Cuba)

The Hotel Saratoga is located in front of the Parque de la Fraternidad near the Capitolio Building in Havana, Cuba. Spanish merchant Gregorio Palacio y Pérez commissioned the building. The central location and the views made it a preferred destination for international visitors. In 1996, the property was transferred to Hotel Saratoga S.A., a Cuban joint-venture company owned jointly by Habaguanex S.A. and an international consortium of investors. The original building was gutted, and only the street façades on Paseo del Prado and Dragones remained. It was reopened in 2005 as a five-star hotel with 96 rooms, three bars, two restaurants, a roof-top swimming pool, and a business center. Its architecture recalled the colonial era and had an eclectic character with a large number of elements of interest such as French carpentry, ceramics, and Cuban marble. Since a gas explosion in May 2022 the Hotel is not operational.
